Prepping for Bug Invasion I – with nail polish
Nail polish is hard.
When you have 10 people on the team who each have their own tool sets, one of the first things that happens is that tools get mingled. We’ve decided to mark our personal tools uniquely. One person took white (I think it was Whiteout). Another person took pink. I’ve opted for two [...]

The Prairie City roll
There’s nothing I can add. If you don’t have all day, skip to 4:45 for the roll and aftermath. The roll in pictures is here.
I think it’s time to spring for the HD GoPro Motorsports cameras.

Nine days to our first race of the season and counting
This light bar has nothing to do with what I’m about to write, but it took me all winter to paint, clear coat and install the TrailGlow HIDs, so you’re gonna have to check it out.
We head out on Friday, March 19, for Prairie City for our first race of the 2010 season and between [...]

Brett Svatek did a piece on the team and I spent most of my time talking about eating.

Find us at the World Diabetes Congress
Look for us right at the front doors of the Montreal Convention Center.
I’m not sure where the car is right now, but Richard and I will be meeting it out in front of the Montreal Convention Center between 7 and 8 a.m. on Friday morning. We’ll drive it through the front doors and powerslide it [...]

Great video of us getting pwned by a 16 car
Here I was all set to get some great video of 1107 rounding the corner at Checkpoint One of the SNORE 250 in Primm, and this 16 car comes in and ruins everything!
Photos tomorrow. We’re all bushed.

Countdown to the SNORE 250
Fresh from the makeshift paint booth, we start prepping 1107 for the SNORE 250 and beyond.
Today we narrowed down our rough running engine problems to an over exuberant electric fuel pump. It was putting too much fuel into the carburetor, resulting in rough running. Apparently some $40 fuel pressure regulator will fix this. Otherwise, the [...]

Francis arrives at his new home
Francis rolls out of AWACs.
A.J. picked up Francis earlier today. Francis, as you recall, is a Vietnam era M-274 mechanical mule. Four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, it can go just about anywhere, just not very quickly. A.J.’s plan is to strip it down and restore it to its original military look in time for the Baja [...]
